Leonardo da Vinci was a great artist. He lived in Italy in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. He began his career as an artist. But his interest in the world around him drove him to study music, math, science, engineering and building design. Many of his ideas and inventions were centuries ahead of his time. Leonardo’s most famous portrait of a woman is called the “Mona Lisa.” It is now in the collection of the Louvre museum in Paris.

As for Italy, he is more a symbol of national culture, in this country, the number of things such as red wine, furniture, restaurants, hotels, airports were named as Leonardo da Vinci . The logo of one famous Italian brand Leonardo Di Gasun (in Chinese we call it Lao Ren Tou) is using Leonardo da Vinci ‘s self-portrait as its image.
